Hi there! I’m Mackenzie, Founder of The Creative Kind. I love to travel, play sports, try different foods, hit up the local farmer’s market, and be spontaneous! I also have a huge passion for helping businesses and entrepreneurs build their presence online through social media, websites, and content creation. To me, there is nothing like being able to help someone accomplish their dreams of building a successful business and brand.

I got my start in marketing and social media in 2018 when I was a Marketing Intern in college for a local soccer club in Lafayette, Louisiana (Geaux Cajuns!). In 2019, I grew my design experience and managed digital marketing for brands at a marketing firm in Houston.

In 2020, I graduated with a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing and furthered my education by completing the MBA program at the University of Louisiana in December 2022. In 2021, I was hired as a Marketing and Events specialist at Rice University where I designed social content, logos, pitch decks, newsletters and conference websites.

My entrepreneurial passion has kicked in and now I manage business accounts that need guidance with social media, logo design, website design, slide deck design and I love it! Social Media can be a lot to handle on top of running your own business, which is why I would be ecstatic to lend a helping hand.
